HuluIf you are around my age (thirty-something), then you remember the days of television where only on HBO or Cinemax would you hear a four-letter word, see someone killed, or watch two people ‘get busy.’ There were unspoken boundaries of what was acceptable for mainstream media. Such boundaries are all but erased today.

FordWith holes in our ceiling and shingles on our lawn, we decided to bite the bullet and have our roof reconstructed. A fine husband-wife team named B&K Construction was our choice and, so far, we are impressed by their professionalism, expertise and price. Plus, look at their cool, Classic Ford! (Front Grill, Front Side, Other Front Side, Full Side)

weedoo_day.JPGMy oldest is now 9 years old. One year away from the double digits. Having survived his birthday weekend, his mommy and I are more aware than ever of the extreme need to prepare him to make the decision to devote his life to Jesus. Having been witness to some of his school friends and talking with neighborhood parents, it’s clear that media and peer pressure are becoming more and more threatening to children’s faith.
